Since The Queen was seen with her Launer London Handbags over the Jubilee Weekend last month, sales of these bags have started to rise.  Launer London has reported a 58% increase in orders for their classic handbags.  Demand was so high, that the site crashed due to a sudden surge of traffic.

The Queen has been sporting these handbags since the 1960’s and they are a great design for anyone which a Classic Style Personality.  Launer London also produces a number of accesories such as purses, wallets, credit card cases and iphone cases.  Below is my favourite from the collection.

Nude Shoes & Tights Sales Soar!

We all know that skin coloured shoes can make your legs look longer, especially when teamed with skin coloured shoes.  Image consultants have been imparting this advice to their clients for years and years.

However, it’s not until Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge was seen wearing her nude LK Bennett Sledge Patent Shoes with her skin toned tights again and again that the fashion journalists decided to jump onto the band wagon.

The key to these shoes is to ensure that it matches as close as possible to your skin tone.    There are many nude shoes out there, so be patient and find one that suits the skin tone of your feet and legs.  The same goes for nude tights.  If you struggle to find the perfect match, it’s best to go a shade darker rather than lighter.

What I love the most about nude shoes is that they will work with any outfit!

How many pairs of nude shoes do you have in your wardrobe?  What do you wear them with?

The cost of Kate’s Wardrobe

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge is proud to wear clothes from the British High Street and is an ambassador for re-wearing an outfit more than once.  However, it has recently come to light that Kate’s outfits for ‘work related’ engagements are paid for by Prince Charles.

So far, it is thought that the cost of Kate’s clothes come to around £35,000.  Given that Kate is in the public eye a lot, I personally don’t think that she has been extravagant in her spending.

Some fashion journalists argue that she should be spending more, based on the fact that she is the future Queen.

From what I’ve read in the newspapers, she seems very grounded and like to mix her designer with high street style.  Given our current economic situation, it seems be-fitting that  she is seen to be frugal with her wardrobe rather than splashing the tax payers hard earned pennies at every public event.

Do you think that Kate should be spending more money on designer clothes or should she continue to champion the great British high street?

Tights for Men!

Yes, you’ve read it right. Fashion designer Emilio Cavallini has recently launched a range of tights for men call mantyhose.

Apparently, they sell so well that they  accounted for nearly three percent of his company’s annual production of 1 million tights!  At £17.46 a pair, that’s a lot of tights being sold.

The question is, what would you wear them with? Answers on a postcard please!
